Awning Agreement

Important Notice:

Awnings are considered an EXTRA and are NOT guaranteed before or during any rental period.

Awning Usage Agreement:

By using the awning, the Renter agrees to this Rental Agreement and all related materials provided by River Road Rentals.

Awning Use Guidelines:

1. Damage and Costs:

Awnings are easily damaged and repairs or replacements can cost up to $2000.
They are NOT covered by our insurance.

2. Renter’s Responsibility:

Renters must know how to properly open and close the awning.
A fee will be charged if River Road Rentals is called to assist with a fully functional awning.

3. Supervision:

Never leave the awning unattended.
The awning must be rolled up when the renter is away from the trailer.

4. Weather Conditions:

Do not use the awning in windy or rainy conditions.
Light drizzle is acceptable as long as water does not accumulate on the fabric.
A single wind gust or a few minutes of rain can cause damage.

5. Prohibited Uses:

Do not place any heat sources (e.g., BBQs, grills, heaters) under the awning.
Ensure tree branches or other structures do not come into contact with the awning.
Do not hang anything on the awning, including clotheslines, towels, or trash bags.
Awning-specific lights are allowed if completely removed before departure.

6. Maintenance:

Do not use tape on the awning.
Avoid contact with any cleaners or chemicals on the awning fabric.

7. Departure:

The awning must be rolled up before departure.
A $35 fee will be charged if the awning is left open upon departure.
